Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Qav analytics platform at theqavtable.com (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Qav provides a web analytics dashboard that integrates with PostHog for visitor tracking, Google Search Console for keyword performance data, and uses AI (Claude by Anthropic) to generate insights about your website traffic and SEO performance.

3. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• One account per user. You may not share accounts.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly. All plans include a 7-day free trial — your card is required at signup but you will not be charged until the trial period ends.

• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.
• Failed payments may result in suspension of your account.

5. AI Credits

AI insight generation consumes credits. Credits are non-refundable and do not expire. Credit packages are one-time purchases processed via Stripe.

6. Google Search Console Integration

By connecting your Google Search Console account, you authorize Qav to access your GSC data in read-only mode using OAuth 2.0. You may revoke this access at any time from your dashboard settings or directly via Google Account Permissions.

7. PostHog Integration

Qav can connect to PostHog in one of two ways:

• OAuth 2.0 (recommended): You authorize Qav with read-only access to your PostHog projects, organizations, and query data using the scopes project:read, organization:read, and query:read. We store the resulting access and refresh tokens securely and use them solely to display your analytics inside your Qav dashboard.
• Personal API key: You may alternatively paste a PostHog personal API key, which we use the same way an OAuth access token is used. The key is stored encrypted at rest and transmitted over HTTPS only.

Either connection can be revoked at any time: disconnect from your Qav dashboard settings, delete the personal API key in PostHog, or revoke OAuth access at PostHog under Account Settings → OAuth applications. Qav never writes, modifies, deletes, or exports data in your PostHog account.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise access our source code
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its servers
• Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-download data from the Service
• Resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties without our written consent
• Track websites you do not own or have explicit permission to track

9. Data Ownership

You retain ownership of your website analytics data and any data imported from Google Search Console. By using the Service, you grant Qav a limited license to process and display this data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and underlying technology, is owned by Qav and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.

11. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience downtime without prior notice. We are not liable for any losses resulting from Service unavailability.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. AI-generated insights are provided for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as professional advice.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Qav shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the three months preceding the claim.

14. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days before permanent deletion, unless you request immediate deletion.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users by email of material changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except where prohibited by law.
